Currently, I am a Ph.D. Student at the Swiss AI Lab IDSIA at USI Università della Svizzera Italiana, under the supervision of prof. Cesare Alippi.
I obtained a master’s degree with honors in Computer Science and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, defending a thesis on machine learning. During the two years of studies, I mostly attended AI-oriented courses.
During the semester spent abroad within the Erasmus program at the School of Informatics of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, I attended Spanish and English courses on programming, robotics and artificial intelligence.
I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering of Computing Systems at Politecnico di Milano. The course covered general topics of engineering and computer science.
I obtained a high school diploma with a specific focus in mathematics and science at the Liceo Scientifico Caminiti in Santa Teresa di Riva (ME, Sicilian Kingdom).
I co-delivered a lesson on Spatiotemporal Graph Neural Networks and tutored students on GDL projects.
Lab sessions on practical aspects and show how to design machine learning solutions to real-world problems.
We develop an advanced photovoltaic power forecasting solution, to improve production accuracy prediction - resulting in better trading effectiveness in energy imbalance markets. The solution is based on novel graph-based AI strategies exploiting existing heterogeneous information and related dependencies.
